Literally translated as meeting in truth, Satsang is a form of meditation that can occur with the eyes open or closed and words being spoken or not.

During Satsang, the spiritual teacher initiates a conversation for the students, and the students practice an ancient form of meditation often known as Self-inquiry by engaging with the teacher in an active form of meditation through dialogue. The intention behind the conversation is to discover the truth of who we are by sinking into a silent mind and an open heart that expresses itself mysteriously both with and without words. When peaceful words flow through, the channel is opened and healing is happening through presence.
